Description

We brouwen ons bier volgens de slogan "Beer for Thought".

Bottle. Color: Ruby to copper, small beige head. Taste: Compared to the not barrel aged version of this beer, this beer it less complex and more to the sweet side. The bourbon is clearly present. Notes of red fruit, raisins. Personally I prefer the non ba version above this ba version.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour. Aroma of orange zest, citrus, peach and spicey hop. Taste has bitter orange zest, citrus, spicey hop and soft oat. Way too carbonated, which detracts from the flavor. Otherwise a nice neipa.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Aroma of buttery caramel, vanilla, resinous hop and malt. Taste has buttery caramel, vanilla, herbal malt and some oxidation unfortunately. Lacks complexity and pleasent flavors, expected more from this.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Hazy, golden amber with a beige head. Sweetish, sourish, malty and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, oak, red grapes and some raspberries. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, malty and moderately fruity taste of caramel, red grapes, raspberries and some oak, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Flavor is lovely hoppy, sweet tropical fruits, peach and sweet ripe mandarins with low bitterness. Damn this is really nice indeed. Roel you did a great job on this one. Absolutely delicious!

330ml bottle from Sterk, Amsterdam. BBE 21/07/18. Pours cloudy orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, grass, pineapple, citrus and mango. Taste is carbonated, juicy fruity and grassy hoppy with some pine, citrus and mango. Finish is carbonated, fruity and juicy with some tropical notes, pine and citrus. Okay, but a bit too aggressively carbonated, doesn't feel very smooth.
