Cloudy yellow gold with a frothy white head and a tropical fruit aroma. It's nicely fruity with some nectar-like sweetness before a very slightly dry, soft bitterness comes through

26/7/2023. Can from Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours hazy pale golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, oaty, pineapple, grains, melon, slightly earthy, some coconut husk. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, average to soft carbonation. Pretty decent.

Can. Clear amber beer, tidy bubbly cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Smooth malts, rich, a nice creamy sweetness with a really mild caramel. Hops are smooth pine, red berries, soft black pepper, mild candy fruits on the back end. Finishes airy with good nibbly hop spice. Everything comes together just right on this one. Nicely thought out, very nicely delivered.

Keg at the Junkyard, Nottingham, 07/07/23. Black with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark chocolate, mellow roast, dark malts, cocoa powder, brown sugar melt, molasses. Taste comprises dark malts, light spice, modest coffee, chocolate, dates, raisins. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay stuff but lacking both coffee presence and depth of flavour for me.
