Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 30A: vanilla / 15B adapted: low alcohol 0.5%). Can 44 cl - Batch 08 (BB: 07/05/24). AROMA: medium-high powdered cocoa and vanilla notes. APPEARANCE: dark brown body and opaque. medium-low light brown head with medium retention. TASTE: initial medium vanilla and powdered-like cocoa flavor. medium bitterness with an almost dry finish and slight roastiness. MOUTHFEEL: low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: the vanilla and cocoa notes overpower everything else since there were very little roasted malt notes detected. unbalanced but drinkable.

Canned 440ml. -Rose/red coloured, minimal off-white head that went away immediately, raspberry nose. Sweetish malty, bready, raspberry juice and touch of vanilla with soft raspberry finish.

Can, 0.44l. Cloudy golden pour, half finger soapy white head, medium retention. No lacing on the glass. Grainy nose, light peppery, grassy and citrus notes in the background. Light body, lively carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, lightweight and fizzy, prickly,, easily drinkable. Bittersweet taste, more on the bitter side. Aroma of grains, grass, hay. Citrus, peppery, dusty. Light veggie notes in the background. Lingering bitterness in the background, somewhat unbalanced. Kinda flat and empty. Short lasting finish, dry, lingering herbal bitterness. Average.
