Description
A bunch of friends who started brewing NOLO beers during the 1st lockdown. After a fairly successful first launch we went a bit rogue and made about 9 beers in 3 months, people kept wanting more so, we kept making them. We didn't quite intend to start a company and carry on after lockdown ended, but here we are.

440ml can. Hazy golden, minimal white head. Aroma of gummy bears, light grape and peach. Taste of white wine, gummy bears (what a combo) and some peach, slightly on the sweet side, or rather there's just no bitterness. Quite light in terms of body for Mash Gang's standards I must say, maybe in flavour too, but it's a pretty solid AF offering to be fair.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft OG. Pours lightly hazed gold with a fading, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of white grape gummies, melon, peach, a little oily plastic. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Further strange oily plastic texture and taste to finish, more white grape, melon. Not very good.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours ever so slightly hazy pale straw yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, bright, weedy, dank, pine needles, tropical fruits, lychee, pineapple, mango, orange chewits and citrus. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness which lingers, green, weedy, dank, pine needles, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, lime, pomelo, floury bread and cracker with a drying finish. Light body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Flavourful and crushable. Really well done.

440ml can bought at Indiebeer and shared with Leif and Magne. Cloudy golden body under a pearl white head, crocheted lacing. Citrus nose with a hint of tropical fruits. Impact of orange and grapefruit to the taste buds. Short fruity tail. Easy going. Decent low alcohol beer. (Airbnb flat, London 08.12.2023).

Can from Greens of Ellon. It pours turbo murky (I got the pour from the second half of the can) mango juice with minimal head. The aroma is sweet, vanilla, gooey marshmallow, tangy, sweet - sour, mango smoothie, peaches & cream and orange creamsicle. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, nip of acidity, puckering, zingy, sour, fizzy sour candy, orange sherbet, pithy, zesty, orange creamsicle, fizzy fermented mango and mango smoothie with a fairly dry, short finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Novel.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It looks ever so lightly hazy copper with a small fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sappy, orange marmalade sandwiches, peach, gummy bears and mango salsa. The taste is firmly dry, pine needles, sappy, resinous, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, tangerine, light tannin and dull toffee with a drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent.
