Description
We chose the name Odd Breed for our brewery because the yeast and bacteria we use are not the typical microbes used in a brewery for fermentation. In a world of industrialized and mainstream beer, most other brewers would consider our brewery and process to be a bit odd.
We think that being different is a good thing, and in a crowded market where most breweries are emulating whatever they think is popular or trendy, we have purposefully chosen to create our own path, as we strive to produce the types of beers we like most.

Red wine grape notes galore. Cherries errwhere too. Delish Flanders type.

750 ml corked and capped. Aroma is bretty, lemon rind, wet stone, floral, funky. Pours a hazy pale light golden with a decent white head. Taste is highly sour (8/10) and dry. Highly carbonated foamy mouthfeel. Interesting beer, but I was hoping for something a little weirder.

750ml bottle pours out straw color topped with a white head. Nose is big peach jam and a nice funky kick. Taste is more of the nice peach jam sweetness and a funky tart end.

Bottle at home mid long weekend. Plum tinged black pour. Nose is vinous and chocolate. Tastes of plums, figs, red wine, dark cherry, tons of balsamic, chocolate and woody. Tart and smooth. Some booze. Better as it warms. Light rye spice and fruity finish. Really good

Pours unclear pinkred, small white head. Smell is oaky, full, fruity. Intense ! Dry, funky. Taste is sharp, dry, fruity, intense, lactic acid. Nice, but perhaps could benefit from a bit more complexity.
