Description
We chose the name Odd Breed for our brewery because the yeast and bacteria we use are not the typical microbes used in a brewery for fermentation. In a world of industrialized and mainstream beer, most other brewers would consider our brewery and process to be a bit odd.

We think that being different is a good thing, and in a crowded market where most breweries are emulating whatever they think is popular or trendy, we have purposefully chosen to create our own path, as we strive to produce the types of beers we like most.

Pours unclear blonde, medium white head. smell is tad tart, mild spiced ( very subtile amounts of Juniper ). Taste is sharp, tart. Lemon indeed. Juniper is more hidden. Nice !

Pours unclear blonde, small to no white head. Smell is rather weak. Taste is full, slightly salty. Tad too tart for the style, but still very gentle in general. Nice beer !

WeWork tasting (20.01.2019). Pours yellow straw, bit watery and not much foam there. Nose has some herbs, lemongrass, coriander maybe. Still in a balanced way. Sweetish persimmon edge there too. Tastes dry, herbal character even more obvious. Dry and lightly acidic. Herbs in the finish, soft and green-curry like. Pretty easygoing tart and spicy-herbal beer.

Bottle at home finish off the weekend. Dark pour one finger head pretty. Nose is more wild ale than expected, some dark chocolate and hint of scotch barreling but subdued. Tastes of dark fruit, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco, wild strawberry, and subdued Scotch barrel. Lovely palate that lively. Not sweet or boozy. Very good stuff

I walked into a Thai restaurant and smelled this beer, the jasmine and lime are wonderful. Light body, light tartness and liquid Thai food. Super well Made and fun but can’t say I’d want a pint of this.
