Tap @ Basement Beer Bar, Aalborg. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, nuts, caramel, coffee and hops. Nice roasty finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some fruity, mild nectary and some mild toffeeish tones with a wee bit of earth too. Flavour is fruity, floral, nectary, some toffeeish and mild spiciness in the finish (or hopburn).

Can, from Basement Beer Bar. A clear golden colored beer with a finger thick white head. Some lacing. The aroma is quite weak, some pale malts and a touch of bread and caramel, with piney hops. It's full to medium bodied, softly carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. Citrusy, piney flavor with some malts. Medium length finish. Easy drinkable, but a bit dull. 221223

Can, from Basement Beer Bar. An unclear orange-yellow beer with a finger thick off-white head. Nice curtains. Nice, but a bit gentle aroma. Piney, resiny and lightly tropical aroma with a hint of pale malts. It's full bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, with a decent bitterness. There's some pale malts in the flavor, but it's mostly hops. Grapefruit, pine cones and some generic tropical flavors. Lasting hoppy finish. A bit gentle, else really nice and easy drinkable. 221223
