On tap at Basement Beer Bar. An unclear orange colored beer with a nice looking white head leaving lacing. Orange zest, orange juice, grapefruit and hints of pine cones and pale malts in the aroma. It's a bit thin on the palate, but drinks easily, it's semi dry and softly carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. Orange zest, grapefruit, pine cones, some perfumed, flowery hints and pale malts in the flavor. Medium length hop driven finish with a gentle hop burn. Dangerously easy drinkable this one, but I'd prefer it a bit more full bodied and carbonated. 230807

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. A hazy golden colored beer with a finger thick white head leaving some curtains. Tropical fruit, citrus zest and pine cones in the aroma, with a hint of hay and pale malts. It's full too medium bodied and a bit heavy on the carbonation, semi dry, with a decent bitterness. Tropical fruit, orange zest, grapefruit, pine cones and some pale malts in the flavor. Medium length finish. Just one in the crowd, but refreshing and quite tasteful anyway. 230807

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. Almost clear in the glass, with a small, dense, off-white head. It's slightly malt sour on the nose, with some alcohol, caramel, resin, pine cones and a touch of grass. It's smooth full bodied and lightly warming, with a good bitterness. Some malty sour flavor too, with caramel, grass, pine cones, resin and a touch of tropical fruit. Long hoppy finish. Decent, nothing more, this one. 230803

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. An almost black one, topped by a dense finger-thick light tan head leaving curtains. The aroma is sweetish and caramel-ish, with roasted malts, a light burnt note, hints of licorice and a good dash of alcohol. It's full-bodied, silky and warming, a bit sweetish on the palate. The flavor is too sweet I think, even for a pastry(-ish) stout. Roasted malts, caramel, some burnt malts, a bit much alcohol, and some vanilla and licorice. A faint citrus zest touch too. Lasting sweet finish with lots of caramel and alcohol. Drinkable indeed, but not my preferred beer this evening. 221220
