On tap at Basement Beer Bar. An unclear yellow colored beer with a minimal sized white head. Grapefruity aroma with some pine cone notes and a wee touch of pale malts. It's dry on the palate, nicely carbonated and with a good bitterness. Grapefruit, some pine cones and pale malts too, leaving to a lasting finish. Although far from complex both in aroma and flavor, it's a pleasant one indeed, and dangerously easy drinkable and quenching. 190427

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. It pours a dark brown body under a dense minimal sized off-white head. Roasted malts, some lightly burnt malts, dried fruits and caramel on the nose. It's a bit thin on the palate, almost watery in a way, with a very smooth texture. Roasted malts do most of the work in the flavor too, there's definitely coffee there, but I wouldn't mind more, and there's caramel and some dark dried fruits. Long malt driven finish with a nutty touch. A nice beer, but somehow too gentle I think. 190427

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. An unclear yellow colored beer with just a thin layer of white bubbles as a head. The aroma has pine cones, pineapple and some grapefruit, with a vague malt scent. It’s medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level and a good bitterness. Pineapple and pine cones do most of the work in the flavor too, helped by some grapefruit, generic citrus and a very light bready maltyness. Lasting fruity finish. A refreshing and fine brew, for sure. 190427
