Translucent lemon yellow with a ring of white head. Nose has what you want, lemon lime soda and grass and big citrus zest. Flavor is simple honey and grist and then all the hop stuff. Zippy finish. Off dry. 7 4 6 3 13

Murky caramel brown, solid finger of cream colored head. Boozy malty nose, caramel, marzipan, raisins and dates. Something peachy happening too. Flavors follow. A little cakey. Some chestnut honey. Full bodied, sticky finish but pretty smooth. 8 3 8 4 14

16oz can at share. Dark brown pour, opaque, small beige head settles to ring. Aroma is malty, toasty, nutty. Taste is malty, light sweetness, light roast and just a hint of bitterness. Nice mouthfeel.

500 ml bottle for $22.00. Aroma shows some rye whiskey followed by coffee and minerals. The flavor backbone is mild roast with a rye whiskey center. Ends on moderate coffee bean. Body is good for the style and shows decent dry texture. Coffee does linger without the malt becoming sweet. Real nice!
