75 cl bottle. Pours dark brown, small tan head. Aroma is phenolic and toasted malty. Toasted, slight fruity. Mellow and lingering fruity, roasted. Dark malty finish.

clear brown to clear light brown, small bubbles brown to light brown head. sweet malty aroma, a little hoppy bitterness to balance, overall quite sweet aroma. also faint nuts, and some plain caramel (neither dark or light caramel) Flavor is nutty, faint caramelly. not really a very interesting brown ale if you ask me, but seems fairly clean.

Bottle @ Brugsen. Pours Hazy deep amber with a creamy head. Deep Nutty and fruity vinous nose. Some esters. Flavors are malt extracts, dried fruit, cane sugar. Thin and flabby body. Nose was inviting though..

Bottle. Pours murky dark chestnut with large light brown head. Aroma is malt, caramel, syrup, black currant, anise and apple seeds. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is oily with mild carbonation. Finish is long and sweet with notes that follow the nose plus notes of rye bread.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. Slightly spicy, citrusy aroma, but very downplayed. Sweet malty body, quite fruity, harsh, metallic bitter note - almost herbally astringently bitter. Unpleasant in al its ugly harshness. 121217

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, grass, moderate yeasty, frutiy yeast, belgiom yeast - UK yeast, dates, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, juniper bitter, apricot - dried fruit, dates, fruity yeast, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
