Aus der Flasche im 2018-04 getrunken. Dieses rotbraune Ale mit beiger Schaumkrone hat einen etwas merkwürdiges muffiges Aroma. Dieses Aroma kommt wahrscheinlich daher das eine moderate Hopfennote durch den deutlichen Honigeinsatz ausgeglichen wurde. Am Gaumen ist diese Kombination besser gelungen und der Honiggeschmack ist deutlicher, aber hat halt keine heftige Süße durch den Hopfen. Im Grunde hat das Ale eine interessante und süffige Aromakombination mit vollen Körper.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts fine malty, spicy, sweetish, hints of honey. Also some herbal notes in the background, different spices, dried fruits. Finish well balanced, still sweetish-spicy. Interesting!

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Fruity aroma really with hints of chili, maybe olives. Starts fine hoppy-spicy, fruity like lemon, hot. Well balanced finish. Quite drinkable. Really an interesting beer. Liked it!

31-08-18 // taster at the brewpub. Bottle. Unclear golden. Big white head. Mild chili in the nose. Taste is very well blanced. A nice Helles with a grainy smoothness as base an then a nice chili spicyness. Good.
