Årets første sykkeltur langs Gandsfjorden brakte meg på forunderlig vis til Melkebaren, hvor jeg måtte gå planken: uklar blekgul med fint skum som varer. Mykt anslag av tropiske frukter, ananas og aprikosmarmelade. God maltkropp og mild bitterhet i den saftige avslutningen.

Pours muyrky yellow with a lacing white head. Lovely rip tropical fruits, orange creamsicle and dense citrusy hops. Lovely malty support. Very nice.

Draft at the Funchal Taproom. The bartender warned me about it, so I was prepared for how funky this is. Pours a murky, light brown color, with a big, foamy, fine, beige head. The nose is coconut, milk chocolate, lemon juice, and caramel. Sweet and sugary, with a sour, acidic flavor. Medium, creamy, sharp, acidic, and effervescent. Really weird, but pretty tasty. Not a stout; more like a chocolate smoothie sour.
