Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured almost black with a frothy tan head. The aroma is rich red berry fruit, light caramel, chocolate, coffee. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a rich fruity liqourice alcoholic palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel.

Can. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is soft and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Malts are mildly sweet with a touch of caramel .Pinch of spice. Mild sweet esters in the mid. Citric peel and ripe tangerine before a light dry finish shows mellow hop skunk. Not bad, lacks a bit of brightness.

330ml can. Orangey amber colour, white foamy head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, hop, pine. Taste is malt caramel with mellow orange, fruity, woody, pine and hoppy grapefruit bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish with lingering pine. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at home. Pours clear golden amber, nose is burnt toffee, malty, lemon, taste is similar, slightly vegetive.
