On tap at the hub ale house and kitchen, Liverpool. Deep gold colour with a thick white head. Aroma soft, but tropical fruit, taste has a mellow bitterness.

Bottle - gusher. Nose is wheat, cloves, wardrobe, a very faint fruitiness from the gooseberry but I only got it from hunting it out. Taste is thick wheat. And more wheat no goseberry. The finish is wet white bread. It tastes like a liquid white loaf. Very carbonated. Very odd and quite crap. I assume they have messed the batch up - if not they need their heads checking.

Tap @Euston Tap. Clear dark amber, airy white head. Malty aroma. Flavour has caramel and light bitterness. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours deep brown with a creamy light beige cap. The nose has a bit of milk chocolate, soft roast, torched leaves. Light-medium sweet flavor with lightly gooey chocolate, mild char, roast, earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation.decent balance to finish, more chocolate notes, faint ash, low bitterness. Fine.

Cask @ The Pilgrim, Liverpool. Copper-gold with a thick frothy head. Has a light, very easy drinking texture with a good hop-malt balance with a small sweetness dominant in its character.

Gravity cask at the Walsall Camra, beer festival 2015. Poured a clear mahogany with little life. The aroma is big red berry citrus which dominates. The flavour is light acid sour with a light crispy acidic citrus palate. Medium to light bodied with flat carbonation. A bit one dimensional. Fine with food, but won’t appeal to many people.

Cask @ James Monro, Liverpool. Golden with a thick creamy head. Crisp with some pale-malt with a dominant grain in its nose and taste.
