Description
Piglove comes from the Venezuelan expression 'cochino amor', which is used to describe a love for something that is so big, raw and passionate that it becomes filthy. For pigs it's mud, for us it's craft beer and brewing! There's nothing we enjoy more than getting messy in the brewery, working on new ideas.

Driven by a desire to try new things, we experiment by adding a sprinkle of eccentricity to everything we make.

We have a deep admiration for the heritage of craft brewing in the UK, particularly in Yorkshire. Coming from a different culture with roots based in far-away lands, we wanted to add a little of our own wanderlust into the mix too.

We make bold and fragrant beers by adding unusual, exotic ingredients from all over the world. We're always on the look out for fresh ingredients and new ideas to mix things up.

Star Trek II Wrath Of Khan continued the feud from the television series. Nothing to feud about here as the crisp tasting hop combination has lightly sweet light tropical fruit notes, but nevertheless provide plenty of flavour.

Keg @ Piglove By The River, Leeds. Near black with an off-white head. Soft and easy belying its strength, which is not evident, its a hoppy stout as you might expect given its beer notes, with minimal roasted influence. Nevertheless it's a pretty good brew.
