Tap at Ale Arsenal. Hazy honeycomb. Barnyard and spice aroma. Moderate horse blanket. Some aspects not reminiscent of a saison. Grapefruit overpowers the flavor - as it often does.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amberish with a white head. Aroma is sort of coconut. Flavor is very coconut; smooth; lots of hop, but the coconut obscures details. One heck of a tasty drink. Way too consumable.

At Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City. Massive toasted coconut on the aroma with overt grapefruit. So unique. Pours light orange with moderate white head. The flavor also picks up the coconut in large amounts, yet there is plenty of room for the orange and other citrus to come out. There is a pleasing slickness in the mouthfeel from the coconut as well. Very interesting and very tasty!

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau in San Jose. Pours slightly hazy and orange with a full white head. Tropical fruit dominates this beer with an aroma that leaps out of the glass. Flavor is also overt orange, tropical and citrus, but has a biscuity maltiness lending nice support. Finishes semi-dry and moderate to moderate high bitterness.
