Cask at CBC, London. Pours clear, ruby-red with a foamy, white head. Lovely nose, all orange, melon, grapefruit and passionfruit, along with light pine. Medium to big sweet flavor, lots of ripe, juicy citrus, more melon, some canteloupe, grapefruit, light sweat and pee, mild grass and booze. Medium to full in body with fine carbonation. Mildly warming finish with some sticky and resinous grass and pine, lasting fruity citrus, grapefruit, melon, orange. Has a wonderful citrus fruit character. Very drinkable. Solid beer on all fronts.

Freestyle Friday no. 14. Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 9/06/2012. Clear gold in colour with a tight white head. Tropical fruit aroma with a hint of demerara sugar. Full body, coating the mouth, Flavour had more fruit, with some rich sweetness and a dry finish with a hint of warming alcohol. Enjoyable.

Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. A black coloured pour with a small beige head on top. Rich, boozy, roasty, malty aroma. Taste is rather similar, very rich, roasty, malty, some chocolate and coffee, dry. It certainly did not taste like an 11% beer. A really decent Imperial Stout.

330ml bottle. Pours a very hazy dark orange with a very large head. Aroma is creamy malt with a little mango. Taste is bitter and juicy to start. Very bitter mango finish. Juicy fruit aftertaste.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top.Hoppy, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes slightly sweet, hoppy, tropical fruit and some citrus fruit. Highly drinkable.

500ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep gold with a medium head. Aroma is juicy hops, grapefruit and mango. Taste has grapefruit to start with a very bitter grapefruit and citrus finish. One sided but that’s to be expected.

Bottle from Grape & Grind, Bristol. Pale gold with a slight white head and plenty of carbonation. Sweetish aroma of lemon fruit and creamy malts, with penny of grassy hops. Flavour had some solid malts, more lemon and lime fruits and a lingering, big bitter finish. Very good.

Bootle from Grape & Grind, Bristol. This was "Freestyle Friday" number 9, brewed with Adam Tierney-Jones. Copper coloured, with a slight haze and plenty of carbonation, but no head. Slightly bread malt aroma, with a hint of powdered chocolate and grassy hops. Flavour had some rye cereals, slight earthiness, orange fruit and a gently bitter finish. good.

Aroma -soft dark roasted malts, chocolate, soft good quality coffee, fruity dark malts, well blended
Taste - soft dark roasted malts, dark fruits, soft bitter chocolate, touch of coffee, bit of burnt wood, lots of fruity dark malts, quite complex
Palate - very soft carb. medium body, smooth texture, touch of warming alcohol on palate, smooth fruity malts and soft woody. Finish as main flavour, smooth, lingering fruity roasted malts

Craft. Clear dark red brown beer, small off white head. Smooth light palate, semi dry. Mild carbonation. Mild malts with a trace of dark toffee. Crisp mild dark fruits. Neutral finish. Fine but a little dull.
