Description
At the gateway to the Sequoia National Forest, Kern River Brewery is Kernville's only brewpub. This makes KRBC much more than just a restaurant; it's an attraction in itself.
The Kern River Brewing Company is a privately owned “S” Corporation and is managed by a three-member board of directors. The business of the company is the production of fresh high-quality beer and food in a fun, comfortable environment. Kyle Smith, Eric Giddens and Rebecca Giddens make up the perfect combination to do just that.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, malt, and apricots. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, apricots, malt, and spices, leading to a bitter finish.

From can to glass. Orange-copper and a bit dirty. White head that lingers throughout. Caramel on aroma and flavor. Slight orange. No date on can so curious if this is a bit older, or just to malty.

5oz glass from draught @ Zeezicht Breda. Pours a light hazy deep golden colour with a thick frothy off white head with some lacing. Aroma's of grassy hops, a little old, fruit. Retronasal it's fruity and old hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with a short firm bitterness, dry. I will have to try this fresh at some point.
