Description
At the gateway to the Sequoia National Forest, Kern River Brewery is Kernville's only brewpub. This makes KRBC much more than just a restaurant; it's an attraction in itself.
The Kern River Brewing Company is a privately owned “S” Corporation and is managed by a three-member board of directors. The business of the company is the production of fresh high-quality beer and food in a fun, comfortable environment. Kyle Smith, Eric Giddens and Rebecca Giddens make up the perfect combination to do just that.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours translucent gold with a large white head. Aroma is mango/apricot. Med body. Flavor is mango, plum, apricot with a little hint of pine or similar. Fruity, nearly juicy, but dry. Caramel support, but not sweetly so. Very hoppy in a smooth way. Bitter in more than a moderate way. Tastes grest.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours hazy, somewhat dirty, gold with a large foamy white head that descended into froth. Aroma is dankly citrus and tropical. Med plus body. Flavor initially has a hay flavor, then reveals dankness and burning hop - mostly citrus, but I think passion fruit and green melon could be in it. Somewhat juicy, yet still reasonably dry. Bitter. Lots going on with this. Good ale.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, malt, and apricots. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, apricots, malt, and spices, leading to a bitter finish.
