Description
Discover the beers of the Iron brewery, the essential and daring craft beer factory in Occitanie! David Garrigues and his team offer innovative, original craft beers and prove their know-how, brew after brew, with balance as the key word. The Iron brewery is located in Montauban, in the heart of the “pinkest of pink cities”, this city of pink brick which contrasts with the verdant flora of the Tarn that surrounds it. Founded in 2017, David very quickly offers beers with character, far from the standards found in the Occitanie region and throughout France.
Since its creation the Iron brewery has sought originality while maintaining "high-end" quality. Evolving outside the paths of "Blondes, ambrées, brunes", being part of a new original and qualitative French brewing landscape is a priority. We dedicate our soul to bringing craft beer to the same level as wine, namely a beer that is not made only to quench thirst but for tasting and thus create new passions.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Hoppy Loft. Pink red berry juice milky. Nose is milky overly sweet lactose fruit smoothie. Not a fan too much smoothie murky sweet red fruits, berries, lactose, milky, too much muted sweetish smoothie taste with low salt, lacks fermented / beer or good smoothie qualities.

Bottle from La Cave a Bulles, at home, 24th March 18. Pours black as night, nice dark tan head, huge sediment in the bottom of the bottle, aroma is hoppy, floral, dusty cocoa. Taste is my sort of BIPA, bitter, hoppy, citrus, cocoa, dark bitter chocolate, really bitter finish, with cocoa. Another lovely French CDA, and another great beer from this new brewery.

Bottle split at home with and thanks to James, 07/12/17. Hazed chestnut brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is earthy hop, biscuit, toffee, straw. Taste comprises brown bread, bitter orange, burnt biscuit, toasted grains, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying spiked with earthy hop bitterness. So so offering ... old skool vibes and lacking hop presence.
