[ As SPYBREW Black Water ].Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark malt, chlorine - licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, chlorine - licorice, roasted, dark malt, charcoal, ash. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170518] 7-3-7-3-13

Draught at KØ17. Sweet liquorice aroma. Black colour. Seems cloudy. No head. Mild liquorice flavour. Roasted note, raw liquorice and sweet liquorice. Might look a bit one-dimensional with all the liquorice I mention, but I like it.

Fra fat på DØE ølfestival, Lokomotivværkstedet mai-17: uklar korngul med kort skum. Avrundet og behagelig aroma og smak med tropiske frukter, gress og kanel.

[ As SPYBREW / Bad Luck Hanging With the Spy ].Clear medium brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, damp stain - fusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, damp stain - fusty, roasted. Fra fad, første dag på DØE Ølfestival i Lokomotivværkstedet maj-17: grumset brunoransje med kort skum. En solid maltkropp bærer frem den kraftige humlekomboen - jeg finner ananas, fersken, bitterappelsin og granskudd i både aroma og smag. Lang, fruktig bitterhed i eftersmagen.

Draught at KØ17. Vinous aroma. Almost black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is roasted and nutty, slightly vinous. Slightly grainy finish, but also vinous.
