On tap in a 500ml glass in Vecriga beer garden on 22/7/2010. Has quite a distinct aroma for a pale lager, with a floral, honey/pollen and bready aroma. Sweet honey is the most notable flavour. Has a quite firm and lasting hop finish. A lovely, high quality lager which is perfect to quaff on a warm summer’s afternoon in Riga.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a creamy, dense off-white head. Malty, caramel aroma, slightly corn-like. Caramel and bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the end. A little metallic touch too in the finish. Medium body. A straight forward beer with little soul. Drinks easy though. 100716

Bottle, 4.6%. Clear golden colour, white head. The flavour starts off a little sour, almost as if infected. But then it just turns into a standard macro lager. Slightly rough bitterness, good mouthfeel.

500ml Bottle - Amber/red in colour with a lively head. Fairly fruity aroma with some sweetness and malt. Fairly sweet and malty taste with some fruity elements. It tastes rather thin at first but seems to have more body after a few sips. There is a bit of bitterness in the finish but mostly sweetness dominates this beer. Not bad.
