Smell- weak hops, maybe faint non-alco tones. Foam-thin, hoppy, faint non-alco notes. Head is large, white in color. Appearance - brewer bottle cap, simple label. Sticks a bit. Clear orange color, weak to mediumcarbonation with some bigger spots. From - pint Taste - weak hops, non-alc notes, faint citrus. Sweetish. Quite bad, below average non-alco.

Half-litre bottle: BB 24th Oct 2020. Drank at home on 27th Sep 2020, obtained from a local Eastern European store. Bright, clean and clear golden body, short lived white foam on top. Sweet and grainy taste/nose, I actually enjoyed it's simplicity.

500ml bottle: BB 29th Sep 2020, drank at home on 16th Sep 2020, so just in date! Beige foam for a head, clean and clear brown body, with an amber hue. Malty nose and a sweet malty taste, thin body. A little disappointed to be honest, bottle cost over 3 Pounds in a local Eastern European shop!

Smell-weak to medium malt, bread, yeast, well kvass. Foam- thin, malt, bread, sweetness. Head is small, dirty white color, like weak yellow mixed with weak brown. Appearance- simple bottle and generic black bottle cap. Clear, dark red color, ruby. From - snifter Taste - malt, bread, acidic tones, the sweetness is low enough, but citric acid hits through a bit. Nothing special, but not the worst kvass for sure.

On tap at Alus Seta, Riga Surprised I haven’t rated this one before, as it’s long been a firm favourite. Nose is mainly malts with undertones of toffee, honey and caramel. Pours a rich red brick brown with a small almost white head that soon dissipates. In the mouth is a lovely mixture of grains, fruit and nuts. Apples and cherries in the background. Finish is malts with just a hint of hops. A classic dunkel. Formerly the best beer in Latvia – but times have moved on.
