At Strangers Brewing Co. we brew craft beer, by hand in small batches. We have a core range of beers which are available all year round, as well as seasonal specials that take their flavours from what’s growing on the farm and the surrounding Scottish countryside. We want to make beer that’s full of flavour yet balanced, interesting without being ‘wacky’. We make beer that we enjoy drinking, instead of just following what everyone else is doing.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Hazy-opaque light gold. Thinnest white head. Aroma has citrus and a dank underbelly. Flavourwise it has a bitter streak. Citrus and herbs mashed up. Light-medium bodied. Flat-average carbonation. And stuff.

Cask at Alexandra, Derby. Pours a murky orange-brown with minimal off-white head. There’s alcohol, malts and nuts in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off slightly sweet with a creamy texture, but bitterness gradually increases to dominate. Flavour has mixed hops and autumn fruits plus hints of alcoholic strength. Traces of spice and apricot later on as well. Finish is slightly sweet and boozy. This is reasonable.
