Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, honey, clove and some vanilla. Sweetish-malty, yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of caramel, vanilla, honey, lemon and some clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite dry and yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, but not a Tripel.

Thx! to Beerhunter111. 750 ml. Swing-top bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. BBF 09.08.2016. Hazy orange, little white bubbles. Nose is sweet, lightly soapy, herbal, plastic, low boozy & banana. Taste is sweet candy banana, sugar, low sweet plastic, touch soap, big boozy. Body is plastic, banana, sugar. Overall just an okay beer, not very expressive, simple, sweet, sugar & banana forward with some plastic & booze.

Sampled @ Ratebeer Belgian Summer Gathering 2016. Slightly unclear yellow color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is suprisingly sweet and light sweet fruit, didn’t expect that. Flavor is sweetish, slightly vegetal, a hint of orangepeel, slightly floral perhaps. Hmm bit weird, not too bad but I’m also not a fan.

(bottle, 33cl, Edition I, 5.2% abv) Hazy, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Mildly malty aroma with present hoppy notes of citrus, lemon and cocos. Bitter and delicately sweet flavour, rather light bodied with a calm carbonation. Dry malt character with fruity and slightly resiny hops, again with a whiff of cocos; dry, moderately hop bitter and slightly sweet malty finish with a fruity and delicately resiny hoppy tail. Likeable. 26.VIII.16

(swing top bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Mildly sweet and delicately toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, red berries and yeasty spice. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly yeasty, slightly toasted malty taste with hints of caramel and a present berry-fruity acidity, which is most probably showing a kind of brewing failure and/or an advanced stage of infection; sour-fruity and delicately sweet finish. Disappointing. 25.VIII.16

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, slightly reddish golden colour with an off-white collapsing frothy head. Yeasty and a stenchy phenolic (band aid, paint thinner) aroma with notes of wheat, caramel, as well as fruity notes of strawberries and banana. Mildly sweet and delicately acidic flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Fruit-accented malty, wheaty base with notes of berries, caramel and now bearable phenolic spices; mildly sweet and fruity-sour finish with traces of caramel. Surely not the best brew from Cadolzburg. 22.VIII.16
