Black. Huge vanilla, maple, chocolate, coffee, caramel, earthy. Solid sweet but not too much. Tons of maple, very tasty.

Bottle from Artisan-ale.com. Black without head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, maple syrup and vanilla. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily and soft. 250622

Roast and maple. Vanilla, kind of a french toast vibe if you spilled your Jim Beam shot in there anyway. Black pour with mocha head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Pretty nicely done, and I can tolerate this pretty well for someone who doesn't usually love big booze pastries like this. Lingering booze on finish. Tap at Outro Lado.

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: oh my! Lovely stuff going on here, smells like a dessert, lots of dark caramel, chocolate notes, vanilla, very nice! MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: all very dark (almost burned) caramel, vanilla, a bit oxidized, lots of chocolate, nice stuff, sweet, good roast, bitter finish. Aftertaste: oxidized, dried fruits, sweet and sugary, lots of caramel, vanilla, more chocolate. Very good one!

Noire huile de moteur, filament huileux et doré au verre, pas de col.
Arôme d’emblée boozy, chocolaté, Bourbon dont légère pointe de vanille, douceur organique du sirop d'érable.
Palais est épais, pastry like booze, pas mal de douceur résiduelle apportée non seulement par les 14% mais aussi pas la sucrosité du sirop d'érable.
Le Bourbon donne une petite pointe de vanille, dont une douceur latente, effervescence est faible et accentué l'effet boozy - sur la fin je note un côté presque noix de coco/bounty.
OK sans plus, c’est juste, encore une fois, trop fort en alcool, et le tout est collant aux lèvres, plat et visqueux.
