330ml bottle. Opaque, dark brown colour with average, firm, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, tan head. Vinous fruity, tangy, yeasty and woody, slightly caramel malty aroma, notes of red wine, some oak, a touch of vinegar, balsamico, blue grape juice, a touch of Marsala, sherry, tannic overtones, whiffs of black pepper. Taste is sour, vinous fruity and slightly acidic, creamy, malty basis with subtle residual sweetness, a tannic, woody, oaky touch, hints of balsamico, sour red wine, unripe red berries. Slightly viscous, creamy texture like beaten cream sauce, dry and slightly astringent, simultanously soft, somehow foamy palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Rich and manifold in the nose, less complex and a tad too sour concerning taste, very interesting creamy-foamy, almost a bit smoothie-like texture - certainly not on Rodenbach level, nevertheless very nice.

330ml bottle [Hops: Cascade, Citra]. Jet black colour with huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, dark beige head. Roasty, dark malty and piney, grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of coffee, scallion, coffee grounds. Taste is bitter, grassy and piney hoppy, mildly bitter, roasty dark malty, minimally waxy, citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of coffee, some lemon, a touch of lime, dark chocolate. Watery and slightly oily texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively light, a bit cautious; not a paradoxical clash of contrariness, just a contactless parallel motion of disparity - innocuous.

Pint at Liquiderie pours an dark orange, a little oily, basically no head. Nose has plenty of Citra, fresh cut oranges, some grass, some honey, some mango. Flavor has orange and melon and mango, some malt. Finishes lightly bitter, lightly boozy, oily. Ok. A bit odd.

Voilà une bonne triple à la française bien médiocre ! Déséquilibre en bouche avec un sucre trop présent et un alcool violent mal intégré et arômes peur intéressants nous sont donc proposés ici. En verre nous sommes sur un blond orangé voilé avec une fine effervescence moyennement soutenue et quasiment sans mousse. Le nez est sur un cocktail peu emballant de zest d'orange, de pomme de terre, pain, alcool et pomme avec de légères épices. En bouche on retrouve ce cocktail qui n'est pas des plus affriolants sur une structure qui ne l'est pas plus. Dès l'attaque, l'alcool est en mode violent, sans finesse avec une légère acidité, une légère et une légère astringence. Pour compenser le brasseur nous a adoucit de trop cette triple, ce qui n'arrange rien finalement. Du côté gustatif, nous restons sur les arômes du nez, pas la panacée. La deuxième bouche montre une bonne intensité mais également des défauts qui sont encore plus marqués. En arrière bouche, l'alcool nous le fait en mode bourrin et seul le final viendra nous donner une illusion d'équilibre. Comme quoi, il suffit de faire quelques kilomètres pour changer complètement de monde.

Bière 33 cl ramenée de chez Cambier. Sur le papier elle me faisait envie car j'aime les bières vieillies en barriques. Mais grosse déception à la dégustation, elle est très acide, type sœur. notes de fruits rouges mais pas à mon goût du tout. Je ne sais pas si c'est volontaire ou mon exemplaire qui est raté car rien n'indique sur l'étiquette qu'elle est sensée être acide.

Bière 44 cl trouvée à la brasserie Cambier. Nez houblonné frais, tropical. Bouche intense, bien fruitée, a 100% sur le galaxy. Bonne amertume qui dure en bouche. Très bonne.
