--Bottled at RBESG Grand Tasting 2023. -- Clear golden, mid sized head. Intense bitter hetbs up front. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Herbal spice and honey. Citrus, honey and bitter herbs. Mid bitter finish.

Some small transparant bubbles, reflected in the glass adhesive carbonation under the white to pale yellow liquid. Nougat, if anything. Not much aroma. Say nougat with a drop of lemonjuice. Dry, grainy in the mouth, but retronasal indeed honey, if almost "sweet-less". Certain dry spices (coriander-like, but in a very acceptable way). Light body, alcohol remainy utterly hidden; almost refreshing, good carbonation. Very surprising brew, mead of a type never encountered before. Purchased from Beer in a Bottle, Alkmaar.

Small, if stable, white head, fed by very lively carbonated pale, faintly veiled yellow beer. Very fine & delicate aromatic nose. Herbal, garden herbs, meadow flowers and lemon. Citrussy nose, lemonbalm, faintly blossoms with nectar. Finish has (maybe just a bit too much) some sweetness. Very well-carbonated, quite slick, light to medium bodied. Nice! THIS is a real saison, in contrast with many 'saisons', 'imperial' or other, we're bombarded with from all over the world. Purchased from Beer in a Bottle, Alkmaar.

Disparate bubbles as head; reddish brown beer. Vinous, plums, and partly coloured malts; honey, fortified wine. Clove, allspice, some honey... and honeycake. Faint cigar/sandalwood flavours. Again fortified wine. Well bodied; some alcoholwarming; not very carbonated. Special. Tasty, but not one I'd fancy finishing off the full 50cl. Bought from Beer in a Box, Alkmaar
