Description
Speyside Brewery is based in Moray Speyside, the heart of Scotland's malt whisky country. More than 50 distilleries are within a 30-mile radius of the brewery, using the same water for their iconic whiskies that we use to make our beer.
Founded by chemistry student Seb Jones in November 2012, the brewery produces a varied core range of beers - named after local
icons - as well as popular seasonal beers. We are proud to make them.
Brewery closed in 2020. Relaunched in Summer 2023 with a different beer lineup.

(Bottle) Clear reddish beer with a thin head. Not much aroma. Flavour is tangy fruit and burnt toffee. There’s a slight citrus aftertaste in there too. Quite tasty.

Cask at The Guildford. Pours amber with an thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee, stewed fruit. Taste is hop-bitter, orange citrus and a touch of honey. More of bitter for me, but decent enough.
