[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale straw coloured pour with a loose white head; pleasant herbal aroma; fresh , crisp lemony citrus taste; and a pithy finish. Simple but refreshing.

Can, gift from Sam. Black body with a tight beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts, milk chocolate and tonka bean. Flavour of creamy chocolate and umami. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A rich and dangerously drinkable beer.

Can. Near clear deep brown beer, small bubbly tan head that doesn't last. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich chocolate malts, some dark chocolate but, a nice touch of milk chocolate. Obvious but pleasing coconut. Rich rounded fruity rum on the back end that blends well with the honeycomb. Some Tonka weirdness because Tonka is fucken weird but, not marrying the enjoyment of this hefty impy. Nicely done.

Can. Hazy amber brown beer, a good tan head, slightly pale. Airy palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Airy malts, a trace of malt cream. The Forest Fruits certainly pack a pleasing berry punch, red and black berries of varying denominations. Star Anise was not over used and just brings a mild licorice like tang on the finish. A curious brew. A bit old double digit fruits beer is what it tastes like because, that punchy fruit kinda overwhelms any natural quad character. Some warmth on the finish. Entertaining and pretty quaffable.

clear yellow, smooth white head
whole-grain bready malty aroma , crisp, with very fine subtle yeast fruity notes, also a very subtle nearly undetectable hoppy note to balance the malts. pretty solid aroma for a pilsener. all the notes are initially signalling craft beer, not industrial beer. however after a few minutes in the glass, i do get some cardboardy and metallic notes that i most often find in cheap lager.
flavor is ever so slightly fruity, bready (whole grain) dry nutty malty, fitting almost flavorless hoppy bitterness, mineral watery texture. mild and subtle in strength, works really well as a dry high drinkability lager.
