44cl can from Alko, Helsinki. Pours hazy straw coloured with floaties and a white head. Fruity aroma with tropical fruits, citrus and notes of resin and pale malt. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and medium to light bitterness. Quite drinkable.

Can at home. Hazy light yellow. Zesty, lots of guava and pineapple, dry oats, mineral water, nectarines. Very light sweet and bitter. Over light bodied, a bit dry. Nice hops in here, overall a very drinkeable non alcohol beer.

Decided to delay my train by half an hour for this extra tick at the station tap.. Extremely dark-brown, looks black taste is all chocolate, except there's zero sweetness here. Stated in one aspect of chocolate, understated in another. Despite this I am favourable to it, its aftertaste provides a very healthy chocolate blast, aroma follows, and this makes it very flavoursome. Aroma strong before the aforementioned too. It was a good choice to delay.

Just a taster here, but a considerable glass for such. Hazy pale golden in colour, aroma is pine and tropical, taste is similar, pine is most dominant though.

(Cask at The Lyric, Soho, London, 14 July 2026) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, bread, earthy/dusty hops and some citrus. Malty taste with notes of caramel, bread, dried fruit, apricots and a balanced earthy bitterness. Light body, quite dry. Well balanced and tasty bitter. Nice one.

clear dark brown, small bubbly light brown head.
first aroma impressions are caramel and vanilla. where's the roasted malts? also bitter coffee. closest to a bitter caramelly porter.
flavor is caramel , vanilla, bitter chocolate, artificial sweetness, quite bitter, but dark caramel bitterness, not really malty bitterness. charred plastic. it's too often brew york makes disappointing black beers imho.

clear pale yellow, same color as a pale cider, white head.
strong peaches aroma, dominated by an artificial ish flowery peaches note, so strong everything else drowns out. perhaps some alc. and leather in there.
flavor is peaches, neutral dry lager notes, somewhat refreshing but imho quality wise similar to flavored industrial macro lagers so really nothing to see here. Not bad. Well produced. Just not very interesting either.

Can at home after a very busy Saturday. Left with 2 daughters so we decided to have a party night of steak, wedges and then watch Project Hail Mary. This was the beer to drink while preparing the food. Spiky, craft IPA. I wouldn't classify it as a session beer. Hit the spot, but the astringency meant I would only have the 1. Hence why its not a session beer.
