440ml can. Poured a murky purple colour with a short-lived, fizzy off-white head. The aroma is big cherry. The flavour is moderate sour, light sweet, with a crisp, tart cherry acidic guava, light sugary marshmallow palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is sweet roast, caramel and beefy chocolate. Taste has dark chocolate and marshmallow to start with marshmallow, caramel and roast on the finish.

Deadication beer to the carrot coloured hair footballer Francis Lee, died on this day in 2023. Has a decent amount of carrot cake taste here, dense, rich, probably not sessionable for most, but fair. Aroma fairly regular in stout terms.

Getting notes of melon and gooseberry, some lemon and white grape, juicy with some light hop spice and citrus peel coming through, semi sweet malts, light bitter hoppy into the close. Not bad.

Appearance - deep brown and pretty much opaque with a creamy beige head.
Nose - malt loaf, going into Jamaica Cake (hint of ginger).
Taste - more Jamaica Cake with lightly fiery ginger.
Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and dry finish.
Overall - good. Is there ginger in this?
