Can from the Free Trade Inn by mail order. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of pineapple, light resin, tangerine. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter finish. Nice.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon meringue and lemongrass. Flavour of lemon sherbet and straw. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. I got lots of sweet lemon flavour in this. It’s really nice.

Can from Eltham Wines. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Very nice nose of mango, papaya, pineapple, peach, banana. Bucket loads of sweet fruit. Taste is mango, pineapple, peach - a cavalcade of sweet juicy fruit, spot of pink grapefruit in there too. Light bitterness in the close.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Smooth and soft palate, decent fine carbonation comes through on the back end. Fairly sweet malts, a light creamy sweetness. Whisper of something edging towards milky sweetness. A good level of hop spice here, nibbles away in a lively fashion. Smooth and semi sweet pine. Decent citrus, fairly bright but somewhat dry and well intertwined with the hop spice. Thought this was a bit sweet on the first few gob fulls, but as the palate adjusts, it is the hop spice that dominates, slight tang therein, mind. A touch of ripe tropical fruits on the finish. Lots of very good aspects here, and on paper it should be a 4 or a 4.1. But there is a lack of coherence here, that feeling that this an assemblage of parts, rather than a cohesive whole.

Cask at Lady Grey’s, Newcastle on 23rd August 2020. Thickly hazy amber with shallow white foam and full lacing. Citrus zest aroma. Intensely hoppy in-mouth with citrus peel and grapefruit juice. A finish of the same, with a lactic touch. Full bodied with a smooth yet engaging mouthfeel.

ABV: 6.0%. Light unclear medium to light amber orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart blackberry, funky - yeast, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, yeast - wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, pale malt - caramel, sweet malt, blackberry, tart blackberry, wheat - yeast, light funk. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Third, gravicask at GBBF Winter, 4.5 % abv. Shared with Finn. Unclear orange coloured body, dotted spots from a film-type layer. Moderate aromas of berry skins. Berry-fruit flavours, prolonged ending. Fair enough. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).

Third, gravicask at GBBF Winter. Shared with Finn. A white bubbly head to an unclear golden body. Inviting aromas of ripe orange. Citrus flavours of orange and lemon. Fruity hoppy end, bittersweet. Quite well bodied. Pretty alright. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).
