On gravity at Sheffield Steel City Beer Festival - Fairly clear amber body, little white head. Heavy note of citrus and tropicals. Robust taste. Good one.

Keg at indy man beer con. Session 2. A dark black mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of tan hesd. Aroma is smoked malts, burnt rubber, nuts, sweet vanilla surrounds. Flavour is composed of butter black roast, Almonds vanilla, burnt custard, smoke,. Liquorice. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, frorhy airy carbonation. Nice. Lingering bitter.

Keg at IMBC. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is big sweet, vanilla, perfumed, toasted almond, biscotti, marshmallow, nougat, ice cream slider and roasted malt. The taste is sweet, rich roasted malt, charred wood, toasted nut, biscotti, boozy heat, rawness, rawness, touch of green veg, burnt toast and light ash with a drying finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Intense and boozy.

Keg at IMBC 2018, session 3. Pours Black with a creamy beige head. Big stuff, fairly sweet, some burnt wood, ashy roast, sugary chocolate, burnt toffee. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, a little sticky sweet, more chocolate, ash, some old leathery berries. Pretty good stuff.

Cask at cloisters. Pours hazy orange, nose is peach, grapefruit, cream, taste is juicy fruit, creamy, zesty citrus.
