Cask at farmers boy St Albans. A translucent dull golden coloured pour with a sticky white head. Lacing. Aroma is waxy, faint citrus fruit, waxed jacket, doughy wheat. Flavour is composed of rounded earthy grains, wheat, waxed citrus, orange rind, little flabby. Palate is semi sweet, doughy, flabby, decent condition. A

330ml bottle from Pint Shop, Birmingham. Pours a hazed slightly reddish gold, small white topping. Aroma bears some light raspberry hints, pale malt. Soft on the palate, decent berry shades to a smooth semi-sweet saison character, light spice. Good lightly fruity saison.

Bottle at IMBC - thanks to Almasty. It pours opaque black with a dark tan head. The aroma is rich, oily, jammy, tangy whiskey, plummy, date, hot jam, vinous character, roasted malt, light smoke, rocky road and oak. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, chocolate cake, oily, vinous, burnt toast, harsh, permanent marker pen, bit of smoke, dark fruits, jammy, leather, boozy warmth and spice with a warming finish. Full body and fine, foamy carbonation. Quite good fun, if a bit harsh.
