Description
Ārpus Brewing Co. is an independent microbrewery, founded in 2017 by craft beer geeks from Latvia. We brew what we love - juicy hop forward ales, fruity sour beers and bold imperial stouts - and we’re proud that Ārpus Brewing Co. is voted as #1 brewery in the Baltic States on Untappd.
We chose Latvian word Ārpus for the name of our brewery, as its meaning reflects the types of beers we brew - outside the box, beyond the mass made lagers, beers with overwhelming flavours and aromas for people brave enough to step out of their comfort zone.
The brewery is located just outside Riga (Latvia), equipped with a 10hL brewhouse and 20hL fermentation vessels. Our beer is packaged in 440mL cans and KeyKegs, then stored in a cold room to keep it fresh longer.

Can. Golden pour. Aroma of juicy white grape, citrus, orange, creamy oat and pineapple. Taste has bitter juicy white grape, creamy oat, orange, pineapple and yuzu-like vanilla-ish citrus. Very nice, love this hop.

Pink head gone in seconds; fully hazy red-terra cotta-pink beer. Very fruity nose, blackcurrant obvious, lactic acid. Sour-ish, initially fruitacids with flavours of cassis and hibiscus tea, then lactic acid appears and in the very finish, retronasal mango. Very complex and balanced. Light to medium bodied, no doubt to acidthinning; well-carbonated, slick. Absolutely stunningly complex fruitbeer, making this a real discovery.

Head gone in seconds, beer looking as pineapple juice. Ureum, bit sharpish citrus, salicylic acid. Sourish-bitterish, dried citruspeel (grapefruit), bananapeel. Pretty slick as if fruit-filled; well-carbonated. OK, if the nose may present some slight faults. Question is, where exactly is this brewed?

Zoet, mango oid, wat plantaardig of herbal. Teveel schuim ook. Meh, tegenvaller voor een zgn "west coast dipa"

Draft. An unclar golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, melons, hops, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, melons, herbs, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. More of an aroma hops.

Smell-weak, fruity, malt, citrus maybe. Foam- thin, fruity, some malt, caramel, sweetness hops, faint citrus. Head is medium, white color, bit of yellow tint. Sticks a bit. Appearance- simple can. Hazy, yellow, orange color, few carbonation bubbles. From - snifter Taste - fruity, some citrus, malt, some weak hops, weak muffled sweetness, fruits mixed with caramel. Aftertaste bitter-sweet very tamed and neutral. Not bad, but nothing over the top as well.

Can 440ml (Mikkeller web) A bit hazy yellow-golden colour, small white head and some lace. Sweetish overriped pineapple in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour is also sweet tropical fruity with pineapple and lychee. No coconut from Sabro. Okish.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and shared at home (28/08/2020) - hazy golden yellow with a white head. Fruity fresh notes of gooseberry, grapefruit, melon, a wash of lemon, some pine needles, medium body, balanced bitter hoppy finish. Drinks well, lovely.
