Description
Ārpus Brewing Co. is an independent microbrewery, founded in 2017 by craft beer geeks from Latvia. We brew what we love - juicy hop forward ales, fruity sour beers and bold imperial stouts - and we’re proud that Ārpus Brewing Co. is voted as #1 brewery in the Baltic States on Untappd.
We chose Latvian word Ārpus for the name of our brewery, as its meaning reflects the types of beers we brew - outside the box, beyond the mass made lagers, beers with overwhelming flavours and aromas for people brave enough to step out of their comfort zone.
The brewery is located just outside Riga (Latvia), equipped with a 10hL brewhouse and 20hL fermentation vessels. Our beer is packaged in 440mL cans and KeyKegs, then stored in a cold room to keep it fresh longer.

Can't really go wrong with Galaxy, and this one shows that nicely. Already getting a bit in on age, I reckon (october?), but still very flavourful and nicely tropical. Pineapple, some bitterness, sweet, smooth and hoppy. Tasty and refreshing.

Brewer doesn’t call this hazy, no mention of NE yeast, but here we are again, another beer classified as hazy because its a bit hazy. What a crock! Hazy (certainly not cloudy) orange beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and a sharpish minerally crisp bite. Light malts, moderately sweet. Nice crisp hops, crisp pine and a nibbly hop spice. Nice citrus peel, bright and slightly bitter. Touch of lemon. Tropical fruits underneath. Finishes crisp with more marmalade like bitterness and nibbly hop spice. Excellent. Crisp biting hoppy DIPA.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and slightly citrusy, minimally grassy, resinous hoppy aroma, notes of melon, hints of mandarine, orange, marmalade, some tropical fruit, sweet-ish, caramel and pale malty background. Taste is sweet, slightly sugary, pale and caramel malty, fruity and slightly citrusy hoppy, notes of melon, some tropical fruit, hints of mandarine and orange, a bitter, zesty touch as well. A tad too sweet and sugary but quite tasty.
