About
Ārpus Brewing Co. is an independent microbrewery, founded in 2017 by craft beer geeks from Latvia. We brew what we love - juicy hop forward ales, fruity sour beers and bold imperial stouts - and we’re proud that Ārpus Brewing Co. is voted as #1 brewery in the Baltic States on Untappd.
We chose Latvian word Ārpus for the name of our brewery, as its meaning reflects the types of beers we brew - outside the box, beyond the mass made lagers, beers with overwhelming flavours and aromas for people brave enough to step out of their comfort zone.
The brewery is located just outside Riga (Latvia), equipped with a 10hL brewhouse and 20hL fermentation vessels. Our beer is packaged in 440mL cans and KeyKegs, then stored in a cold room to keep it fresh longer.

Draft shared with Marko. Very hazy fruit juice appearance with a white head. Aroma of nondescript fruity hops, light coconut, resinous hops, tangerine. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied.

Tap at Drinkøteka with Kermis & family. Hazy chalky yellow body, off-white, thick head. Odd coconutty, creamy aroma. Lena, dry, tart taste, alcohol, low orange liqueur, maybe bit of grape, classic Ārpus herbal-resinous touch in the background. Not bad... but eh.

Aus der Dose (bbe 30.07.2026) im 2026-07 getrunken. Dieses trübe Smoothie starte mit einem kräftigen Bananenaroma. Wenn nicht schon die Banane eine Süße mitbringt dann steigert das Karamell-Aroma das noch mal. Die Birne kann dann es mit ihrer leichte Säure nicht so ausgleichen das man hier die perfekte Harmonie erhält. Das ist dann ein Smoothie für den Winter und nicht für den Sommer.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Big citrus aroma with juicy orange, tropical notes, touch of mango, soft pale malt, more orange juice. Moderate bitter, light sweetish. Rudimentary but fine, devoid of dankness, simply good.

A black beer, a head is very small and brown. Aroma has liquorice, sweet dried fruits, some notes of alcohol, hint of barrel. Taste has liquorice, barrel, some dried fruits of prune, lots of sweetness. Full bodied. A way too sweet.

Hazy yellow colour, tiny white head. Pineapple, some grapefruit in the nose. Medium-bodied. Feels a bit flat. Pineapple dominates, mango and citrus in the mix. Okish.
