Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Hazy ambery golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, malts, grains and some mild notes of herbs. Flavour is quite much the same. A rather dull and boring brew.

Bottled. Clear amber, small head. Fruity and dusty with some butter. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel and light salty bitterness. Unremarkable beer. Pleasant, but without much depth.

Bottled. Hazy golden, minimal head. Fruity pineapple and plum aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Very fruity, I really had to doublecheck so that the label didn’t say mirabelle instead of châtaignes. Light salty bitterness. Unusal, but quite nice.

Bottle BB 11/2010. Pours a rather dark brown with a tan head. Roasted caramel aroma. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is dark toast and a touch of coffee. Could be a hint of peat smoke. There is some spice and fruit, but very understated. It is rather astringent. If I had to guess blind, I’d put it down as stout. There may be anise, but it’s rather subdued. Actually the anise seems to manifest with time. Good ale.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy and dark brown with a huge tan head. Roasted malt, breadish and slight coffee aroma. Mild acidic and hard roasted malt flavoured. Subdued caramel sweetness. Nice dark beadish and slight liqourice tones flavours into the finish. Lovely lasting dark malty impression. Something between a schwarzbier and a stout - not a Belgian ale as stated here.

Pitch black, opaque beer. Decent head, fades but slowly. Nice malt aroma, roasted, slightly sweet, a bit nutty and grainy. Flavor not very sweet, similar to a dry porter, very well roasted, good barley taste, hard to identify the other grains individually, but there is a strong grainy taste to it. Very pleasant and natural. Dry, roasted grain finish. Very little hops, but also not sweet. Excellent grainy beer. Not mind blowingly original or fantastic, but very good indeed.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange to light brown with a minimal off-white head. Mild spiced and caramel malty aroma. Mild sweetness lurking through. Sweet caramel malty towards breadish and light roasted and spiced. Holds a nice counterbalance in the hops. Light bitterness into a medium dry yet tastye malty finish. Nice one.

Bottle. Musty orange-lemon and coriander aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with large white head. Light musty lemon peel and stale wheat malt. Watery body. Aroma showed promise but not much flavor.
