I seem to be bumping into hemp ales all over the place here recently... Pours foggy orange with almost no head at all. Notes of grass, malt, alcohol. Taste is of corn and grain with a grassy aftertaste. Quite watery. Just unappealing all around.

Pours light foggy greenish-yellow with only a bit of head. Aroma of corn, grass, alcohol. Taste is sour grains and water. Unintrusive bitter finish, odd aftertaste. Very little to like in this one.

Pours brown-black with just a little bit of head. Spices, barley, dried wood, odd earthy flavours on this dark brew. Taste is coffee, spice and coriander, a sharp taste, almost a hint of christmas herbs in there. Unique and interesting, but still suffers from a wateriness that most of these French organic brews seem to have, and that I don’t like.

330ml bottle from somewhere -other- than Cave à Bulles in Paris - this is good news, perhaps the French microbrews are gaining a wider distribution? Pours with an attractive amber colour, but not much head. Aroma of wet roasted barley. Taste is smooth roasted barley, spicey, with a weak finish. Sadly like so many French microbrews they don’t have all of the elements working in harmony just yet.

Found at an organic food store in Paris. (Seriously.) Pours with almost no head, and a yellow-green colour. Very slight grassy aroma. Taste is a fermented wheat with a hint of hops, soft but refreshing.

Bottle bought @ La Cervoiserie. pours dark brown, off-white head. aroma, malty, caramel, dark chocolate, plenty of nice roast. flavors, licorice, malty, coffee in after taste, light bitter dark chocolate, molasses. This is a fine beer, and a ncie change from the previous two I tried by this brewery. Lots of roast goodness with a touch of grains. This is tasty, full body, loaded with flavors.

Bottle bought @ La Cervoiserie pours cloudy orange, light white head, beer started foaming out of the bottle upon opening. aroma, yeasty, light spices, grainy/bready malts with hints of hops. flavors, found this one to be overly carbonated, mild malt and roast, grainy, wheat and barley, mild notes of caramel along with a light spicy hop finish. This one is too yeasty.

5.6% abv on bottle label, bought @ La Cervoiserie. triple grains, pours dark brown, quickly disappearing tan head. aromas, malty, lots of grains, good roast and coffee with mild nose of caramel. flavors, while not groundbreaking, the 3 grains give this low abv beer a nice malty profile full of grains, malts, caramel; mild chocolate, touch of mocha and coffee. Profile and finish have a mild hop bitterness along with a subdued yeasty mouthfeel. This is definitely not the beer style as entered, more along a brown ale. Tasty.
