Lichtbruin bier, ietsje troebel. Schuim is snel weg. Aroma heeft de koffiegeur in zich. Smaak is bitter, niet hoppig, maar koffiebitter. Deze bittere smaak blijft even hangen.

pours reddish darkbrown with a light caramel head. aroma of resins, dark malts, caramel, coffee, sweet, alcohol. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, light chocolate, nuts, resins, caramel, dark fruits, medium sweetness, weak/medium bitterness, soft, quite some carbonation, average body. a bit weird after a while...

Way too sour for a schwarzbier, just blasts all away. Some toastyness in the smell, not enough in the taste. Some random sweetness. Meh. Getting better after getting used to it. More toastyness, some fruit (blackberries). Still not smoky enough, not bitter at all.

0,33l bottle at home as part of Euro Local Swap courtesy of bierkoning, big thanks. Date says 12/2015, but I think its the bottled date. copper / brownish quite hazy color small off-white / yellowish head. smells tobacco, spices, sea weed, nutty, light marzipan. average smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of caramel, coffee, bitter herbs, spices, sea weed, tobacco. finishes bit peppery with notes of coffee and caramel. hmm, not a fan of this one, quite weird coffee notes that do not blend together at all with the other flavours.
