Bottle @ home. Hmm ok, a brown ale, but it’s got a nice red color with an average to medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma has definitely got some coffee. Taste malts, some coffee again, some caramel, light roast and a nice quite firm bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad, not great I’d say.

750 ml bottle from my Secret Santa, thanks!
Orange-amber, hazy body, with a big, quickly dissipating, frothy, off-white head.
Aroma of barrel, orange, citrus, ripe and dried fruits, moderate vinegar, some cheese, slight leather.
Taste with about the same aromas, but surprisingly watery.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes moderate, medium sour, fruity, wooden, slightly hoppy.
Good, but quite underwhelming. The nose is nice, smooth, with a good balance and just enough sourness, but the taste is much too light, like this has been watered. Propably the worst unblended Lambic I’ve had so far, while this isn’t a bad beer, especially because of the nose.

0,75l bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. Vintage 2015. orange quite hazy color, small white head. smells sourish, mushrooms, marzipan, light sweetness, citric, some herbs, grassy, some wood. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, rather watery, marzipan, light plastic, grass, some herbs, hints of wood. finishes dry and light sourish rather watery with very light notes of of fruits. Lovely smell, but oh my the taste. I dont believe this is unblended, it tastes like a blend of 30% lambic and 70% water.
