Bottle, 6.5%. Clear dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, dusty, brett and chalk. Flavour is malt, yeast, brett, chalk, dusty, medium sweet, little dry, little perfume and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, fonefan. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are fruits, lactose acid, brett, caramel, malt and hops. Nice sour finish.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Hazy brown with a light beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, faint coffee. Sweet taste with some bitterness in the back in the finish. Quite tin body. Really over-carbonated which spoils the fun a bit because each sip basically feels like a mouthful of foam.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Hazy amber with a white head. Malty aroma with some faint hops. Bitter taste with some breadiness. Was expecting more hops in an APA. Finish is also very short, swallow a sip and the taste, aroma and mouthfeel is almost instantly gone. Not really bad in taste but this one needs some serious work.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Light brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with some light coffee notes. Sweet taste with some coffee bitterness. I was expecting a stout or a porter, given the fact that coffee was involved, but combining it with a brown ale works reasonably well as well. Nice beer.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Eanske Spontaan Donker ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, smoke - peat, medicine, berries - wood - rubber. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, tart, sweet malt, dark malt, medicin, smoke - peat, medium dry, rubber - smoke - plastic. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160624]

0.75 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, bottled in February 2014, shared with Hopfenliebe. Clear, golden amber with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sourish-fruity, slightly funky aroma of lemon, gooseberry, some rhubarb, a bit of barnyard and oak. Moderately sour, quite fruity, slightly funky and a little dusty taste of lemon, gooseberry, rhubarb, lots of oak and some barnyard, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, very dry finish. Medium body, spritzy, moderately astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Good one, really well-balanced and easily drinkable.

750 ml bottle at Gueuze tasting 2016, Ulfborg. Clear copper brown color with off white head. Malty, hoppy and yeasty aroma, bread, grainy, light funky, grassy, floral, wood, medicine. weet and bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Black with creamy head. Flavour is very strong with heavily roasted malts. Light hints of chocolate.

Hazy amber with thin lacy head. Initially there’s toasty malts but in the finish and aftertaste subtle coffee notes come through.
