Bottle at a tasting. Somewhat peaty, medicinal, lots of ambiguous fruitiness. Really not easy drinking. Meh, this one failed hard even though it pains me.

Draft at Delft Beer Festival. Near black with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, coffee notes, caramel, licorice and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and heavy bitter long into the finish leading to an almost metallic quality. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Decent, but way too bitter. [28/08/2016]
