Bottle from het Biermoment, bottled 08 2016, 33 cl sample. Dark copper color, medium frothy head, which diminishes to leave fair amount of lacing. Mainly burned caramel, appelstroop and a hint of roast. Pretty thick in body, lots of sweetness and malty bitterness. Appelstroop once again. Its basicly appelstroop in a bottle. I must admit, although several prople speak highly of Eanskes brewer, I think his creations are utter crap usually, scoring in the low ends of my rating lists. This one is pretty nice actually, although ofcourse balance is lacking. But Im still enjoying this one, and thats whats its all about in the end.

Bottle at a tasting. Only subtle sourness here. Prominent barnyard, but even more prominent medicinal dentist’s fluoride paste. Drinkable, but nothing to rave about.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Dark reddish brown with a light brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, brown sugar, raisins and licorice. Rather sweet, malty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, brown sugar and some nuts, followed by a long, rather bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!
