Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Hazy, brownish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity and minimally roasty aroma of dark chocolate, citrus, rhubarb and some oak. Sourish, a bit sweetish, moderately roasty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, dark chocolate, rhubarb and citrus, followed by a medium long, moderately tart and a little bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent and quite astringent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!

Thx! you for sharing kraddel. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. Dark brown amber, little tanned head. Nose is basic sour oak, vinegar, weird, quite plastic,… Taste is poorer, weird sour vegetable, strongly plastic tasting, far more than the pale which also had a plastic note, fermenting grapes, chemical, rotting vegetables, rotting,… Spoiled, fizzy,… Twentsche Lambiek was pretty good, Pale was okay-ish, this one I am not a fan.

Thx! you for sharing kraddel. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. Orange, golden, little white head, almost none. Nose is sour orange, lemon, big sour plastic, basic sour, lightly puckering,… Taste is mellow big plastic note, sour lemon, basic zest, lemon,.. Faint funk,.. Bit dull & far too plastic tasting. Better than the Donker which was quite unpleasant. Clearly below Eanske Twentsche Lambiek which carried far more complexity & came closer to lambiek notes which this one doesn’t have to be honest.

Contribution. 750 ml. green bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. Bottled 09/02/2014. This one was a lot better than their currant Spontaan Pale & Spontaan Donker, I am inclined to believe that age helped this one. Hazy orange, little brief white head. Nose is dirty barrel, sour old lightly oxidized lambiek, cellar, old lambiek, dirty, smells oddly a bit like an okay qualities 20 year old oxidized geuze,… Taste is similar, stale lemon, dirty barn, aspirin, stale almost touch medicinal, old cellar, soap, oxidized lambiek,… Oxidized lambiek body. Not the best lambiek ever but a pretty decent one, the current Spontaan editions are another story.

Clear brown beer, aery fizzy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: actual brett, smells like real lambic, funky. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: oh no, that's really bad. Chemical, dirty, wow, I don't want that in my mouth... nope, nope, nope.

Clear blond beer, practically no head. Aroma: pretty bad, dirty smell, don't like it. MF: soft to no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty funky, some tannins, sourish, pretty bitter stuff. Probably infected. Aftertaste: medicinal bitterness, rubber, no, something is terribly wrong.

Clear orange beer, small irregular off-white head, non adhesive, unstable. Aroma: funky, true brett indeed, fruity, slightly smoky/peated touch, lemony. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour start, tannins, very acidic, lemon juice, bitter. Aftertaste:s oft fruity notes, tannins, sourish, funky finish. Well done! An authentic lambik beer, at least taste-wise. Not sure about the brewing/fermenting process.
