Bottle [thanks to RW80] @ home. Opaque dark brown color with a full sized light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma and flavor are malts, dark malts, roast, perhaps a slight hint of tart in the distance, bitter. Medium to full body and carbonation. Overall I don’t really like it and I wouldn’t call this a barley wine either but at the same time it’s not really bad. Weird one.

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and only minimally sourish aroma of caramel, lemon and some peach. Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity taste of lemon, orange, peach and some oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!
