Description

Eigenwijze brouwsels met verrassende smaken van licht hoppig tot krachtig donker, met het lokale verleden als inspiratie. Bieren van brouwerij Eanske: recht uit het hart van Enschede.

Gestart als brouwerijhuurder in 2013. Sinds 2019 wordt er gebrouwen in een kleine, ambachtelijke, maar uiterst professionele brouwerij, waar per brouwsel 1000 liter bier gebrouwen kan worden.

Vat 3, fles 162. Corked. Small persistent head. Apricot, lemon and oak in the complex aroma. Bitter walnuts flavor with lots of oak and citrus. Moderate sourness. Perhaps needs more time to unfold and get rid of by-flavors, the aroma is lovely.

2016 corked bottle, vat 11, fles 280. Reddish amber color. Gooseberries, citrus, oak and a hint of caramel in the aroma. Oaky dry, fairly sour flavor with citrus. Hint of white berries. This smells and tastes like a proper lambic, a bit rough maybe.

Bottle. pale golden color. Malty floral citric aroma. Malty yet dry herbal citric hopbitter flavor. Some sharpness around the edges. Pleasant.

Bottle. Blonde. Citrus and soft soapy and floral notes in the aroma. Malty flavor, fairly dry, citric and perfumed. Hint of chloride. Drinkable.

Bottle. Orange blonde. Soapy, lemony, soft bretty aroma. Soapy, floral, yeasty, bretty citric, soft sour flavor. White pepper. Dry funish. Not perfect, but quite complex.

Tap & ProefEet Enschede. Murky brown color. Hints of roast and orange in the aroma. Milk chocolate. Sour flavor with orange, marmelade and soft roast, especially in the finish. Doesn’t look good, but tasted quite decent.

Bottle. Brown color. Caramel, licorice and citrus in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with citrus, caramel, milk chocolate, soft roast and licorice. Fairly pleasant.
