Description
Abbaye de Brogne was introduced by Brasserie Defosse in 1982 and, in later years, was brewed by Affligem then Lefèbvre. The brand is now owned by brewer Bruno Deghorain of La Binchoise.

Thanks to Bruno, the Abbaye de Brogne Brune and Blonde are now brewed at a brand new microbrewery in the grounds of the abbey itself.

Nieco slabsze piwo zimowe z Belgii.

BIO Organic beer from Belgianbeer.pl. Wyglada ladnie ta lakierowana mala buteleczka. Piana w kieliszku Leffe jest spora i trwala. Jasne zolte i metniste zabarwienie. Pachnie jablkami i podobnie smakuje ale kwaskowymi odmianami, zwlaszcza papierowki. Lekkie piwo malo chmielne ale tez i malo slodkie mimo dodania cukru. Skladniki z certyfikowanych upraw troche poprawiaja te ocene.

Clear amber brown colour, small frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dark fruits, brown sugar, liquorice, caramel. Sharp taste, thin mouthfeel, light heavy sweet, light bitter, burned caramel, spicy. Middle part dominated by bitter roasted malts, some chicory, peppery. Finish dry roasted, spicy, alcohol notes, all in all thin impression, medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation. Less body than expected, taste one-sided roasted malts, misses complexity, a harsh beer, average.
